The Manhattan Historical War Gaming Society is a community of locals who explore history through gaming. The group is free to join for all MHK Tabletop Gold Members and meets every Saturday morning for organized and freeplay tabletop miniature and board games

Whether you have a preferred game system and personal army or not the MHWGS is open to anyone with an interest in history. MHK Tabletop has the facility to supply armies and games to anyone looking to join so all you need is to be a member and come ready to play.

Our Grand Project

In the pursuit showing the grand scale of historical battles and better model and study, we are working to recreate true 1/100 scale battles. Dubbed Grand Battles Manhattan we are working to recreate the battle of Agincourt, needing 22,000 hand painted soldiers and a battle mat that is 30’ x 20’. Anticipated to be ready for the 611th anniversary on October 25th 2026.

Following Agincourt, we plan on continuing the 100-year war line with battles like Verneuil, Crecy and Poitiers. We also anticipate opening new lines as support grows with the American Civil War being first on that expansion list.
