Surprise!
The Galaxy is in civil war! Imperial forces are spread all across the galaxy in search of the rebel strongholds. Subsections of the Imperial Navy must take the burden of sector patrol and to intercept pirates. One such group is tasked with finding pirates coming and going from the Numidian system in the Bright Jewel Sector.
Pulled from Hyperspace
The Imperial fleet, armed with an Interdictor Class Cruiser uses a gravity well to force passing ships out of hyperspace. To their surprise a small rebel fleet is pulled into their net. Used to small pirate freighters the Imperial forces are caught out of formation.
Take command of the Imperial Fleet
While momentarily caught of guard you quickly realize the situation and also the great potential. If you can destroy this rebel fleet it will certainly bring the recognition and promotion you deserve. Act quickly, and aggressively to obtain victory for yourself.
Save the Rebellion
The suddenness of the silencing of the alarms as you are pulled out of hyperspace give little give you little comfort as you see from your viewport the Imperial Fleet. How the Empire learned of your mission and the speed they must have had to intercept you baffle you. With a sudden call “All hands to battle stations” you leap into action to save your ships and possibly the whole rebellion.
